I don't recall ever seeing the LV logo cut in half but certainly have seen tips of the letters missing on authentic pieces. I'm afraid to say that the LVs being cut off in any way, shape or form indicating a fake is yet another internet myth!

She says that the LV bags should come with a Certificate of Authenticity, an envelope containing Care instructions, as well plastic packing tubing on the handles that you take off. Her bag is has the Made in the USA tag inside . I always receive an email of copy receipt from SA/LV Store right after every purchase and have been continiously receiving mass email from Corporate. Complimentary email and assistance once received from LV Client Service when there was an issue with my purchase in another country. To my satisfaction, LV on and after sales has been excellent.
